Cache statistics and purge history

Where to find cache hit numbers and the list of purges for each environment.

Parts of this feature are still being built. The Not yet section lists them.

The Caching page keeps to switches and clear buttons. Cache numbers and purge history live elsewhere.

Cache statistics

Open Analytics and choose the cache report. It shows the hit ratio, hits, misses, and bypassed requests for the period you pick. Bypassed requests, such as a logged in visitor or a cart, are not in the ratio. The numbers come from the server log on your site's node, collected every hour.

Purge history

Every purge is a job, so it shows in the jobs drawer with its time, who asked for it, and whether it succeeded. That includes purges a WordPress admin started with Clear caches in the admin bar (Clear all caches). The full list, with scope and URLs, is in the API.

Not yet

  • Cache statistics per URL are not built.
  • Automatic purges on a schedule are not built.

API

  • GET /v1/environments/{id}/cache/stats
  • GET /v1/environments/{id}/cache/purges
