My plan

See your plans and add-ons, add disk space or WordPress sites to your account, check this period's usage, and find where to cancel.

Parts of this feature are still being built. The Not yet section lists them.

My plan is the first page of Settings, then Billing. It shows what you pay for and what you use, in this order: your plans and add-ons, Additional disk space, Additional WordPress sites, External backups, Analytics, and Cancel hosting plan.

Everyone who can see billing can read this page. Only Owners, Admins, and Billing members can add to the plan or cancel it. Other roles see the cards without the buttons.

Plan and add-ons

The table lists every plan and add-on on your account:

  • Name: the plan or add-on. A plan also shows its location, such as "Ashburn, Virginia, United States".
  • Type: Monthly or Annual.
  • Price: the locked price of the plan, or the monthly price of the add-on.
  • Renewal date: the next renewal. A plan you cancelled shows the day it ends instead.
  • Sites: how many of the plan's site slots are in use, such as "1 of 3 used".
  • Status: Active, Trialing, Past due, and so on.

On a phone, the table hides Type, Renewal date, and Sites to fit the screen.

Under the table you see the next invoice estimate and, inside the 30 day money back window, the date the window closes. The Add a plan button at the top of the page starts another plan. See Billing and plans.

Add disk space

Additional disk space is shared by every site on your account. The card says how much disk your account includes now.

  1. On the Additional disk space card, select Add to plan.
  2. Pick how much to add. Disk comes in blocks; the dialog shows the size of each block.
  3. Check the price of one block and the monthly total. Both come from Avaloi's add-on price list.
  4. Select Add to plan.

Have a promo code? Select Have a promo code? in the dialog, type it, and select Apply. A code takes effect on the first, prorated charge only, and the dialog shows how much it took off once you pay. See Promo codes.

Today you pay for the rest of the billing period. After that, the monthly total renews with your plan. Avaloi then resizes every site on your account. The work runs as a job you can follow from the top bar. See Additional disk space.

Add WordPress sites

The Additional WordPress sites card raises the site limit of your account. Select Add to plan, pick how many sites, check the price, and confirm. Each extra site comes with its own disk, and the dialog says how much.

If Avaloi cannot add it to your account, for example because the account has no plan yet, the dialog shows the reason and nothing is charged.

External backups

External backups keep an encrypted copy of a site in a storage bucket you own. You set them up per site: open the site, then Backups, then Off-site backups. See Off-site backups.

Analytics

The Analytics card shows company usage for the current billing period in four bars: server bandwidth, CDN bandwidth, disk usage, and sites. Each bar reads like "2.5 GB of 20 GB" or "1 of 3". A figure Avaloi does not measure yet says so, with the reason when there is one, instead of showing 0.

Select View analytics for the full numbers and a row per site. Overage and the spend cap are on the Usage tab of Billing. See Analytics.

Cancel hosting plan

The last card explains what happens when you cancel and holds the Cancel plan button. See Cancel your plan.

For scripts and agents

  • GET /v1/billing/plan returns the plan state, the entitlements, and the next invoice estimate.
  • GET /v1/billing/subscriptions lists the plans with their site slots.
  • GET /v1/addon-catalog lists the add-ons with their monthly prices and what each unit grants.
  • POST /v1/companies/me/addons with addon_key (additional_disk or site_slot) and quantity adds an add-on. It answers 202 with the add-on, today's prorated charge, and a job id. It needs a signed-in Owner, Admin, or Billing member.
  • GET /v1/companies/me/addons lists the add-ons on the account.
  • DELETE /v1/companies/me/addons/{id} removes one and credits the unused part.
  • GET /v1/companies/me/analytics/usage returns the usage figures for the billing period.

Not yet

  • Removing an add-on from My plan. Remove disk space from a site's Add-ons tab, or use the API.
  • Adding to the plan with an API key. The add-on routes take a signed-in session only.

Quick answers

Why does a bar say "Not measured yet"? Avaloi has not measured that figure yet, or cannot right now. The line under the bar says which. For CDN bandwidth, it can mean Cloudflare has not answered yet, or that Avaloi cannot read Cloudflare's numbers at the moment. It is never shown as 0, and nothing is billed from a figure that was not measured. See How usage is measured and billed.

Where do I remove disk space I added? Open any site, then Add-ons, and select Remove on the Additional disk space card.
